Hi Everyone! I am new to the list, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Allison Viron and I live in Pittsburgh, PA. I have been reading the PDML for about 2 1/2 weeks now, but I didn't want to comment on it until I said hi.
I started with Pentax in college (I was able to steal all of my Dad's old lenses) and a few years ago I took the DSLR plunge and got an *istDL. Photography is a serious hobby for me (or should I say obsession?), but I did recently shoot my first wedding. My paying job is with the Art Institute of Pittsburgh; I am an Admissions Recruiter. At the moment, my favorite subjects are my pets - an orange tabby Manx named Lucy and a black and tan Coonhound named Otis. I know there is something about cat photos and the group, but Lucy has actually learned to pose and wait for the shutter to move, so occasionally I will post a cat photo ;o) So I am posting a PESO of Lucy today.
