Before my last trip, I spent a couple of days poking around the area I was visiting in Google Earth. If you get down at medium "altitude", say 1000 - 3000 meters, you'll see little blue dots. If you zoom in some more, you'll see that they're actually little black cameras with blue "halos" around them. Each is a photo some average traveler posted.
