You're welcome, Boris. Similarly, a free VLC player for Mac OS X from http:// www.videolan.org/ can also play Quicktime .MOV files on Mac OS X (no great surprise, it knows how to access QT codecs).
But the Quicktime Player is an embedded part of Mac OS X systems and generally does a better rendering job.
