I'll see what kind of scheme I can come up with. Scott's suggestion that I mail stuff to him for transport seems possible. In fact, I could mail the t-shirts and other PDML schwag directly to GFM. The difficult items are computer gear: I definitely need my laptop computer and I really want to bring the new monitor for the contest judging. I'm not keen to send those through the postal service for a variety of reasons. With a little creativity (and restraint), personal stuff, camping gear and a reasonable photo kit could be carried on the bike.
