Yes, that's about the closest in FoV and the f/1.4 vs f/1.8 difference isn't much to speak of but it isn't as good a performer wide open. The FA43/1.9 Limited is closer in performance, I feel, albeit at a somewhat tighter FoV. The FA35/2 AL does pretty well too, but it is a full stop slower and isn't quite as good on rendering out of focus elements. There's a reason the FA43 now lives almost permanently on the K10D body... ! ;-) I hope the upcoming 30mm f/1.4 SDM will come up to this standard.
