MacBook Air. Pretty, but the plain MacBook offers more performance in a much cheaper and marginally thicker package. The Air is intended for light use (salespeople, managers, anybody who wants style and/or ultra-light weight but doesn't need serious CPU power or amenities like a DVD drive). -- M.
