a lot of tourists visit Harrogate, which is a spa and has a wonderful
old Victorian Turkish Bath.

Curiously a lot of people who visit think it is by the sea, and ask
for directions to the beach. The typical response from locals is to
point down the street and say 'carry straight on down there for about
50 miles...'.

Oddly enough, despite having no beaches and no sea, Harrogate does
have a pier head.
