Actually the Pentax Forum Trogs are complaining because a /Thrid Party/ autofocusing TC is smart enough to pass on the digital data but not smart enough to convert the FL data when it does. They can't dial in the FL because the camera already ha it. However I cannot see how that is Pentax's fault. It's the fault of the TC maker.
