Hi Mike...

Welcome to the group. I have the SMC-A 70-210/4 and use it often with my
ZX-M. Although it's a little slow and a bit heavy, I've taken some of my
favorite pix with it. I've been happy with the quality on enlargements up to
8x12. The macro feature isn't really useful in my opinion, as the lens is
just too big for doing a lot of macro work. On the plus side, the lens is a
one-touch zoom (both zoom and focus are done with one control surface) and
it is a "true" zoom (you can focus at an object then change the focal
distance without readjusting the focus).
