Received the new screen yesterday. It is a pleasure to use and manual focusing could not be easier. The subjects just pop into focus like in the good old days with the LX :-). Tried out with my A* 85/1.4 and my other fast A* lenses fully open and verified that my K10D mirror and focusing screen do sit right where they should. Manual focused images come out razor sharp. They get a little blurred if I turn the focusing ring just a little bit to either side of the apparent correct focus in screen. Cannot comment yet about the possible metering changes, but the test shots all came out fine with Multi Segment metering. I will need to try out the spot metering and see how much off it is (I tend to use spot metering very rarely if at all). This screen is likely the perfect accessory for all K10D (and K20D?) manual focus shooters.
