Hi all, I'm currently working as an editor of sorts of a book to be published. I've been doing text editing et cetera but also worked with the photos and illustrations. Now the printing house asks me to deliver pictures in CMYK-format.
While I know about and understand CMYK, I have not previously had to do the CMYK conversion myself, why I now ask for any advice on it, in case there is someone on the list who's been working with it. Do I just check the CMYK-option in Photoshop for any photo/picture or are there other particular steps to be taken or aspects to be considered? My monitor is not professionally calibrated.
