Thanks, Bob. The path, as it happens, doesn't bother me because it parallels 
the sun lit lawn surface. However, I don't think it would be missed if not 
there. ;)
I spot metered on the bench confident that the background could easily be lost 
and the clumps of leaves would stand out as positioned.
