It was Germany... if you look at the first of the color photos, that's  
the view from the back of the hall.

No reserved seats.  I was up there on stage right for the whole show,  
front row.  I had a Vivitar 28mm for the wide shots, the venerable M50/ 
f2 for the normal shots and a Takumar 135 for the closeups.  That's it  
- nothing magical about the access other than being in the right place  
at the right time.

The really cool part afterwards was finding the torn-off half of my  
ticket stub on the ground outside the hall - so I have my whole ticket  
still!

As time goes on I'll have my stuff from Ultravox, The Rolling Stones,  
Squeeze, David Bowie, Genesis and others online too - I'm having fun  
scanning this old stuff!
