Hi all,

I meant like this:

http://picasaweb.google.com/don.donwilliams/Stack

This poppy is much the worse for wear. It was fine when I spotted it
this morning from my bedroom window. But the heavens opened and it was
battered very badly. I brought it in and gave it a few hours to recover
and then took a stack of images. This is the first run. Room light
(fluorescent), camera on P with aperture at f16. Shutter speed turned
out to be 1/4 sec. I did not rack the camera as I should have done -- I
just focussed. There are two schools of thought about this. But what you
do really depends on the subject and the software you are going to use.
This was HeliconFocus -- the latest update. There are two combined
images -- the last two in the gallery. One was resized to 800 wide and
included by mistake. I can't see any difference myself. This is a very
rough and ready illustration of what can be done with a stack.

This could have been done with a ring light, or other decent lighting
arrangement -- and a whole lot more care and attention. But it does show
what's possible.
