That's my other wish: A split-screen focusing aid, like in the old days, that doesn't affect metering at all, including spot metering. With that I might give up AF. Dream on. My FA* 400 F5.6 needed -9. My FA* 80-200 F2.8 needed -8. The others have needed less severe compensation. With telephoto lenses I am finding that the differences between adjacent settings can be quite subtle.
