Does publishing a photograph of a (plainly recognizeable) illegal act
committed in a public place count as "news reporting" for the purpose
of determining whether a model release is required? (That is, can a
publisher make such a claim easily with a fair chance of success?)
As some of y'all will recall, opportunities to photograph such
situations are not uncommon in my neighbourhood.
