I pulled out the camera on Saturday after a few days (ok, a week) of it sitting around unused and a couple of times when I went to use it the first images came out like this:
http://charles.robinsontwins.org/photos/2008/shutter_probs/IMGP9186.jpg The camera is in "portrait" orientation rotated to the left, so the stripe of image which is visible is on the "bottom" of the frame. Seconds later, after turning the camera off/on and wondering what the hell is going on, I get this: http://charles.robinsontwins.org/photos/2008/shutter_probs/IMGP9187.jpg ..and it functioned perfectly for the rest of the day and 100+ shots. Does anyone know what would cause this? My only thought was that the mirror could have had problems and been getting in the way, but due to the way that an image "flips" on its way to the sensor, doesn't that mean I should only have seen a stripe of exposure on the TOP of the picture, not the bottom? -Charles -- Charles Robinson - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Minneapolis, MN http://charles.robinsontwins.org I am riding in the MS-TRAM this summer.
