You never know. You always have to at least *try* to make lemonade out 
of lemons! In the case of my "ruined" roll of E6, I realized that the 
offending rust-colored staining was only in the darker parts of the 
images, so I was able to burn them down to black in Photoshop after 
scanning the slides. The roll of film in question can be seen at
