She is certainly a challenge. Her face (and her body for that matter) are very muscular. But they're the long sinewy kind of muscles. That's nice in terms of fitness, but not very feminine. Yet she has amazing eyes. So there's something to work with, but it's hard to pinpoint. We're going to shoot some workout pics in a gym after her wedding. That might be her calling. But she has to have model studio pics as well. The agencies demand it.
I'm quite happy with some of the shots we have, and I know I can step them up in retouching. One thing I've experimented with is a nearly transparent blurred layer over those mouth dimples. I've also tried cloning them at about 20% with neutral facial tones. Both seem effective. But that's her call. I'll definitely do that for my portfolio.
