That's the claim - around 2x the performance, supposedly. Plus the "smart browsing" feature, a.k.a. the "Awesome Bar". Smaller, faster, better - what's not to like?
One of the nice things about living in Silicon Valley is that this sort of thing is front page news in the business section of the daily paper (the San Jose Mercury News).
