Me too, I find them entertaining (and in some cases a nice learning tool)

I used to put HCB on one end and Winogrand on the other (after this
video, Winogrand should be replaced by Gilden...); One is like a
fisherman, finds a spot with the right geometry to be a potential
photograph and waits for the rest of the pieces to fall in place (I
read that a similar approach is used by Trent Parke, he goes to the
same spot, every day, at the same time of the day, and burns some
rolls) and the other one is more like a hunter, moving constantly and
expecting random chaos to hit him in the face; I personally enjoy the
result they get from both these two approaches (in a different way,
though).

His confrontational attitude in this video is hilarious, his
"what-ya-looking-at" style in action is so fun to watch, right? ("NO,
DON'T SMILE" that made my laugh)

I'll check them out at home (I'm at work now); I'm curious to see how
Parr works, without having watched the video, "harmless nutter" sounds
like a good description ;-)

This reminds me of some discussion that I read in a forum not long
time ago, where some photographers were complaining about the
inclusion of Parr and Sanguineti in Magnum, as they were seeing a
detour from the traditional photojournalism style of the agency to a
more artsy thing; I like Parr's work, the easy-to-read jokes with a
underlying critic to society (as I also like "South Park"...)
