I'm fairly ignorant in regard to operating systems, so my comment may be misguided. PhotoShop Elements comes free with a lot of hardware, but it doesn't run on LInux. I don't happen to have a free install at the moment, but someone else on the list might. Of course it doesn't run under Linux.
