Hi Christine,
Ann San lived somewhere in South Shore as well when she was very young. Like 
yours, her family moved to the north side early on. Cornell was a nice street. 
I think it began at about 67th at the southern tip of Jackson Park. My wife and 
I lived at the other end of the park —5500 South Shore Drive — when I was in 
grad school at U of C.
