And isn't there a 3 Ghz 8-core machine now? There's plenty of speed out there if you have the bucks to put down. I'll move up to the best machine available when my G4 dies or becomes an impediment to my photo work. Neither has happened yet. I think it must be seven or eight years old. Don't really remember.
