This past weekend was Pride Weekend here in Toronto. It used to be called Gay Pride, but now it's just Pride. So many more than just gay men and women participate, it just makes sense to call it Pride.
It all culminates with a huge parade, which I usually avoid. The best pix are to be had on Church Street, a block from the parade, where most of the booths and activities take place. It's a giant block-party! This is my first year there with a digital camera, and I had a blast. I've got hundreds of shots to go through, but last night all I did was "street portraits" of happy people.
