G'day All, In about August/Sept. of '06 we were all abuzz about the upcoming K10D. Much speculation, and for those who were privy to the "leaked" press release, "nudge, nudge, wink, wink" amusement.
With news of it's impeding release, and me being a tinkerer/pano geek, I started to think about a new L bracket. I liked the idea of the Kirk style L brackets, but I have Manfrotto equipment. So being a drafty & having free boring winters afternoon, I modelled what I would ideally liked to have made: (~8MB) <http://www.arach.net.au/~savage/Misc/mpg5.mpg> I didn't have access to the machine tools I needed to make a prototype (I also didn't have the camera). What I eventually made works but wasn't as compact or sexy looking, but was easy to fabricate with hand tools.. Up until today I though I had lost this CAD model, after last years HD failure. But I was clearing out my work computers back-up folder and found it, & thought I'd share.
