You may have read/heard about California's worse than usual forest fire problem this year. Last I read, there are some 1,700 forest/grass fires burning over the state. Some man caused and many by lightning. We live in the northern central valley. The combination of smoke trapped under a cap of high ozone caused by extreme heat (113F forecast for today) has produced some very chunky, absolutely calm air. Unpleasant for all breathing creatures and dangerous for many. Took a couple shots in the back yard at about 7:30 this AM. Makes my eyes burn just looking at it. I know, that's true of most of my pictures..OK.
