I'm organizing some of my half a million BW negatives. Right now, I'm concentrating on pulling the pics of my kids. I'm scanning them on the Epson 3200 Photo flatbed. It's not even Epson's state of the art flatbed, but it's remarkably good. Better than I remember. Both of these pics are of Grace's mother. The first of these pics was shot with the Mamiya C220 and early (chrome) 80/2.8 lens in 1977. We lived in Chicago then. I had never printed it until today. The second was probably shot with the Fuji 801 screwmount body and Funinon 50/1.8 lens in 1980. That would be Matawan, New Jersey. I didn't check the edge prints, but I'm sure that both are tri-x. I made 8x10 prints of both on the Epson R2400, which delivers great BW. They're darn good. Yesterday is alive and well and hanging on my wall!
