That's a commonly-held misconception.  Photographs are not evidence
per se, unless there is a human being prepared to swear that the
photograph shows a true and accurate representation of the scene.

So, in fact, court proceedings automatically consider photographs
not to be credible - they are merely an aide-memoire.
