Need to vent a little, to people who might know what I'm talking about. I'm not really expecting any responses, though.
I decided to take my FA 50 1.4 out of my daily carry-around kit. I keep finding problems in my photos when I shoot with it. Focus problems, to be precise. Well, it could be a problem with my K10D, but I thought those focus problems were taken care of when I sent the camera to Pentax last December. However, I bought the lens used from KEH years ago, and it was listed as Bargain, so it could also just be the lens. I did notice the other day that there's a lot of dust visible inside the lens now, and whoever owned it before me did manage to put a crack in the little focus indicator window. Who knows what other damage that might have caused. Idunno. My kit is now the DA21 and DA50-200, the latter of which I'm not too keen on unless I need tele. I could replace the FA 50 with my A 50 1.2, but that sucker's heavy, and I don't really want manual focus. I can only hope that the DA* 55 1.4 (listed on the latest lens roadmap) comes out at an affordable price. I feel like I'm missing a hand without my 50.
