I have had two B800's for several years.  My feeling about them was
they were designed for full functionality, but a lighter duty cycle.

So if you are looking for a versatile flash that will not be used
constantly, it is a very good choice.  If you are wanting to run a
studio where they will be in constant use, I don't think they will
hold up as well.

As far as connecting goes - for the DS you will need a simple shoe
mounted synch trigger that takes a PC cord.  The flashes come with
their own cord so make sure the one you are buying has one.

The K20D has a synch port right on it (my understanding - don't own
one) so you just plug the cord right in and off you go.
