Hmmm...you're right!

I did my resizing uploading on a laptop and it looked fine on the LCD;
I just looked at it at a CRT and yeah... It was a grayish late
afternoon and I played around with the white balance switching it to
'cloudy' (or was it 'shade'?) and got this effect.

Oh well...
