No, You're not. Here comes the lecture. :-)

Not really. :-)
But I have developed a certain routine (IE. set of compulsory
behaviours). When shopping for a new can, I check on how much the
valve spits. If it's bad, I pass and look for a different product.
There are some brands with specialised nozzles that claim to be much
better than anything else, but they cost thrice as much and are, as
far as I have been able to make out, not significantly better. My
behaviour has contracted a few disapproving looks in the shops, but
there you go... :-)

When cleaning the sensor, I always move the camera about, and keep the
can as still as possible. Shaking the can inevitably cause a bit of
spitting with most brands...
