Hi, Walter,

I don't take the bus that often these days, just in the winter to get
to work (I cycle the other three seasons). The vast majority of my
transit shots are taken on the subway (as this one was). We're
allowed bikes on the subway during "non-rush hours", but I almost
always take the subway instead of my bike, so I rarely take my bike
with me.

We're beginning to fit our buses with bike racks; right now they're
mostly on buses on the outlying fringes. I used one only once, about
a month ago, after suffering a flat that couldn't be fixed. They're
really easy to use and quite convenient. I was about 10 miles from
home, so the rack was a real godsend for me in my situation.

Thanks for your comment, and thanks to everyone else who commented.

cheers,
frank
