I agree that the content is the issue and the technology should
disappear and not be a topic of discussion.  I also fully accept that
most browsers are better than IE7.  Still, Explorer is the most widely
used browser.  Surely the designer should make the page work
flawlessly in the browser that most visitors will be using.  My
biggest criticism is that the left edge never comes fully into view,
which loses captions.

As I said, I did enjoy the pictures but the technology got in my way.
I've visited plenty of sites with hidden navigation buttons so I knew
what it was doing, it just wasn't doing it well in the world's most
common browser

I use IE7 because I want my computer to be a "one stop shop" when it
comes to upgrading.  I do nothing and all my MS services get upgraded
in the background.... perhaps not with the best software but it mostly
works.  And it's annoying that Flash content doesn't zoom properly in
Explorer, do other browsers handle Flash differently / better when
zooming.
