hi, one more. one of the toughest parts of the ride was the ascent to tanglangla pass (about 17, 600ft) as it had heavily snowed just prior to our passing through. we only had tyres meant for 'highway' riding and there was plenty of ice on the road with tall overhanging cliffs of ice. the earth/terrain was totally black as if it had been charred. quite bleak. but there was also something remote and majestic about the landscape. i hope this picture captures some of all of the above.
the horizontal streak you see is the road we took.... http://picasaweb.google.com/pdml.live/PESO/photo#5226461236777659266 as always, welcome your comments... regards, subash -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
