Shake reduction or not, a light but positive shutter release is desirable for the same reason that a light but positive trigger pull is desired on a target weapon. My K20 feels like a vvvvery light two stage target trigger. I quickly got used to it.
Perhaps it would be nice for some folks if the shutter "weight" was adjustable in some manner similer to my target weapons?
