$720-799 for the printer. 9 ink cartridges, each $11.20 (atlex.com price). They supposedly contain about 11ml of ink and the R2880 is reputed to be slightly more efficient on ink consumption compared to the R2400, which cartridges are supposed to have 12ml of ink. > Christine Aguila wrote: > >> Hi Everyone: >> >> Life just got really busy, so I'll be in & out of PDML, but I did >> want to >> mention I just got my new Epson R2880 with some Premium Luster >> paper & some >> 5x7 glossy. I felt the same way when I got the R2400 ... it's been a fantastic printer and to me the photograph is almost always realized, finally, in the print. Web photos are just easy to send around but don't compare at all. Try some of the Epson Exhibition Fine Art paper or Velvet Fine Art. They are just plain fantastic papers. Hahnemühle, Crane and Ilford also have some fantastic papers. One of my favorites ... and seemingly hard to come by now ... is Somerset Velvet. I hate putting it under glass ... it just feels so nice in the hand.
