You've done well!  I've been trying to photograph a couple of sea eagles
that circle around here but I've never managed to get a satisfactory
exposure.  That 300mm f4.0 plus 1.7x Adapter looks to be a good
combination.  Pity the adapters are so bloody expensive!

I agree with Bob that the images look a little over-sharpened.
