Hi Malcolm I feel the same way, for me the upgrade path with film cameras was usually the medium (film), or a new lens, so it didn't matter that I was still using an MX when there were newer models available, besides I enjoyed using the MX. I waited until the MZ-3 before having a camera with AF. But now the medium is in the camera and it's a whole new ball game. I still own 2x MX, 2x KX, 1x LX, 2x Super A, 2x MZ-3 and a 645 plus various spare parts bodies.

A perception question. I had no problem having a large number of film cameras and funds permitting, wouldn't have thought twice about adding another. Digital is different; I have two DSLRs and would love to add a K20D but a third DSLR seems too much. I expect I've got it in my mind that this is a disposable electronic gadget - but the *ist D I bought as soon as it was released has been a continual joy. Perhaps it's time to readjust my perception?
