:: The photo is perhaps a little common, but the moment was just as sunset closed over the land as I crossed the Texas/New Mexico border on my driving trip around the USA in 2006. The wide road converging into the north and the long way yet to go under that light and sky made me stop and record the moment. I'd been on the road for 6000 miles at that point, stopping little and thinking lots.
