I tend to jump back and forth between J-Album and Porta (also free).

Porta doesn't look as classy as J-Album and doesn't have as much 
customization, but it's fast and you can co-generate both flash, using 
SimpleViewer, and html.  If someone doesn't have flash enabled, they 
have the option of viewing your pix in html.
