Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I am about as far as it's possible to be from my exchange, so the cable
from Virgin looks possible. The only problem I foresee is cable access into
the house (we had a problem with someone running a cable before under the
garden because it's covered with six inches of metal reinforced concrete for
L/Rover hardstanding - BT wires come in from overhead, no issue). If it's
just a matter of extensions from the white box entry, that's fine.

If we have weather like the last couple of days, they won't need too, the
aerial will have relocated itself.

I suppose it might be useful to have a television with a working SCART
connection then. Hmm.

OK, I can go back to them about this and the access issue, now I know what
to ask for. The people I have so far spoken too are just keen to sell with
as many add-ons as possible, and all I really want is socket connections for
a computer in a few places and television access in a couple of rooms with
just the five channels - although the freeview ones would be nice to add.
