A while back my PC with XP home decided to not want to boot up. Gave me an error message after the intel Pentium 4 screen.
I ran the disk scan etc, and it started to work ok, for the summer. Last night and today, it started giving me the error booting up abort dos message after the pentium 4 screen. Also something seems to click a few times at start up. Now it started. Is this my HD acting up. What i need to know, is if this disk fails, am i pooched here, for data recover if i need to install a new one.
