Over the course of the year, a few of the Trillium shows put on a
"Classic" at the end of the day, for some of the
main core riders.

Its a tougher course, and you have two judges, which combine scores
for a percent. The top 50% usually
return for a second round and the scores combined. In a normal Hunter
round you jump 8 fences. In the Classic's
up to 10 fence.

However, one of the show farms, did three Classic's this summer, the
old fashioned way.
Take part of the fence down, build a chute from ring 1 to ring 2, make
them ride up a grass hill and jump a ridged
log jump, both ways. This now involves 16 fences.

The good ol days.:-)

Winner takes all.

Saturday is pony day and they have two Classics on Friday's. One for
the adult riders at 3' fences, and one for the kids who ride small.
medium and large ponies, at 2'6".
