It reminds me of brass plaques afixed to the rocks around Nova Scotia's Peggy's Cove, whose slippery rocks drop into the churning ocean: "Warning, injury and death have rewarded careless sight-seers here. The ocean and rocks are treacherous. Savour the sea from a distance." Somewhere I have that sign on film, but I have no idea where to dig it up just now. Here's why Peggy's Cove is treacherous (from an old PUG): http://pug.komkon.org/01oct/testwave.html Anyway, your's is a rather graphic version of the text-only Peggy's Cove signs. Kinda gross but interesting at the same time. You got some great signs in Hawaii, Dan! cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
