It reminds me of brass plaques afixed to the rocks around Nova
Scotia's Peggy's Cove, whose slippery rocks drop into the churning
ocean:

"Warning, injury and death have rewarded careless sight-seers here.
The ocean and rocks are treacherous.  Savour the sea from a distance."

Somewhere I have that sign on film, but I have no idea where to dig it
up just now.  Here's why Peggy's Cove is treacherous (from an old

Anyway, your's is a rather graphic version of the text-only Peggy's
Cove signs.  Kinda gross but interesting at the same time.  You got
some great signs in Hawaii, Dan!
