There were at least three different versions, the Tamrom 70-300 Di LD I have works just great on my K10D, K20D bodies. I tested it against the FA 80-320 and F 70-210 @ 300mm & 200mm respectively and it outperformed both, a colleague at work has the same model with virtually indentical results on his K10D.

I came very close to buying one of these lenses in the last fortnight on eBay and then I noticed a few of these for sale at the same time. I did then wonder if there was an issue with this lens and now your posting. Is there a problem with this lens?
