My copy is bloody stellar, one of my two favourite lenses for my D300
(the other is my Voightlander 58/1.4). Sigma has worked out most of
the kinks in 10-20 production by now and reliability is quite good.
That said, QC is still an issue and some copies don't perform as well
as others. I'd recommend trying out the example you intend to buy
rather than a demo unit.
