A couple of days ago I found a 120 cm wide roll of canvas by my desk at the office. It took a meeting room table to roll out the thing, it was 5 meters long. It was two enlargements produced from stitched panos.
I can tell you looking at this size of enlargements can be pretty awesome. :-) Some lessons learned: 1. You'll need approx 200 Mpix resolution to pull off a pic like that. 2. Manual stitching is a time consuming PITA, but still blows away anything that automated programs can do at this resolutions.
