The photographer i worked with this past wekend had his crash after
uploading the latest anti virus tool, from what he assumed was the
windows site.

He saved his PC but the laptop had to get a new hd

I wonder if that was my boot up problem, as it started afet some auto
updates done.

I put my XP cd in E drive, it said it was installing some files, then
asked if i wanted to instal XP. I panicked and said no. Then the
computer started, service pack III was auto downloaded and its been
fine ever since.
Runs faster to.
